Spring 2012

Our lawn has come alive over the past few days due to plenty of rain and unseasonably warm temperatures. I finally lugged the camera out of its case this afternoon and snapped some photos. A rain storm had just passed through and it felt like heaven outside. I walked around simultaneously snapping photos and thanking Jesus for the beauty around me.

  1. Beautiful! Thanks for lugging your camera out of its case and sharing this beauty with the rest of us. My yard is looks post-apocalyptic. Due to some injuries and recovery time I still have not raked the Pin Oak leaves from the fall. All the neighbor’s yards resemble yours and mine is burnt, brown and dead. It’s depressing.

    1. Trust me, Jim, mine doesn’t look very good right now. It keeps raining too much for me to be able to mow, so the lawn is looking rather overgrown and ragged. I don’t really have to rake, because we live on a hill and the wind blows most of the leaves into the surrounding woods. Let’s not even talk about the weeds in our front flower beds!
